CRDANCE is a bold force in modern dance, reshaping the boundaries and experience of dance today. Founded in 2007 by visionary Artistic Director Caterina Rago, this Italian and American company, known for its visceral and emotionally charged movement language, honors modern dance tradition as a way to forge a new path. CRDANCE is a dynamic ecosystem for performance, education and artistic research and its convergence, while cultivating the next generation of dancers and choreographers. Under the leadership of Caterina Rago and Executive Director Cheryl Kaplan, CRDANCE has expanded its presence across the United States and internationally through an extensive repertoire of performance, educational initiatives and collaborations with a diverse global network of artists. TEATRO CRDANCE, a newly invented platform, will transform the company’s mission with its launch and creation of a hub for artistic exchange.
